XetaOne was founded with the mission to deliver green computing with no compromise and deliver more computing power than was previously possible.

HYTEN, METHFESSEL and BROCKHURST begin working with ROBERT CRULL at Dallas Internet. Hyten, Methfessel and Brockhurst develop the cloud.

1997

HRH (Hyten, Roberts, Hicks) Interfase begins a series of control investments into ThePlanet.com (SoftLayer). HRH acquires Memory and CPU Virtualization from Dallas Internet.

1997

ThePlanet (SoftLayer) begins commercial operations of the Cloud. Amazon Holiday processing is outsourced to ThePlanet. The cloud begins operations with the automatic provisioning of virtual compute resources.

1998

SoftLayer/ThePlanet is sold to IBM and becomes the IBM Cloud.
